Kitten Transportation - What You Need to Know About Shipping and Pickup

We love meeting adopters in person, but we do not allow cattery visits for the health and safety of our kittens (Please read Cattery Visits page). Instead, we will arrange a designated pickup location where you can receive your kitten. For our safety, in-person pickups will take place at a police parking lot or a veterinary clinic.

• Portland, OR: Free delivery.
• Seattle, WA: $150 delivery fee.
• Halfway meet-up: Free.
• Within a 100-mile radius: Free shipping.

We will coordinate a meeting point to ensure a seamless pickup process. 

If you are located outside of Portland or Seattle and cannot pick up your kitten in person, we offer various shipping and delivery options to accommodate your needs.

We work with a trusted flight nanny who can personally escort your kitten to your nearest airport. The flight nanny keeps the kitten in-cabin, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. If you are interested in this option, we can provide contact information and arrange details. 

We have successfully shipped kittens for years using Alaska Airlines Cargo, which offers climate-controlled pet shipping services. This option is available for direct flights and is a safe, professional method of transportation.

Customers choosing this option will need to pay for a health certificate from our licensed vet, which costs $65, and the shipping cost will be based on Alaska Airlines Cargo rates.

In some cases, we may be able to arrange for a professional pet courier to transport your kitten via ground travel. This option depends on availability and distance. 

Shipping and courier costs vary depending on the distance and method chosen.

• The average courier/shipping cost ranges from $550 to $750.
• Prices may fluctuate based on airline rates, courier availability, and travel distance.

• A $500 deposit is required to reserve a kitten before arranging transportation.
• Kittens must be at least 12-20 weeks old before they are ready to travel.
• All kittens will be fully vaccinated, dewormed, vet-checked at least three times, and spayed/neutered before leaving our cattery.
• We provide a small bag of Royal Canin kitten dry food and a few cans of wet food to ease the transition.
• Every kitten goes home with 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance (we do not receive any commission for this, but we highly recommend it).
• We reserve the right to refuse the sale of a kitten if we feel it is not in the kitten’s best interest.

Once you have reserved your kitten, we will work with you to schedule transportation or pickup. Please contact us as early as possible to make arrangements, especially for flight nanny or shipping services.
